How You Can Help

First, the Annual Mark McCormick Milers Fox River Run & Walk, in itself, is a gathering of friends in an atmosphere that is warm and enjoyable.  Entry fees for the runners and the pledge sheets that many of them solicit and turn in help greatly towards Mark’s expenses for therapy.  But those of you who are not runners can also solicit pledges and donations that are made to the Mark McCormick Foundation, a non-profit organization with 100% of its funds going for Mark’s therapy.

Sponsorships are also very important and highly appreciated, whether they be local or national businesses or generous, compassionate individuals.  A portion of these funds are used to prepare for the event, such as acquiring t-shirts, screen printing for the t-shirts, trophies, etc. with the remaining monies going into the Foundation for therapy assistance.

Volunteers are very essential, without whom, there could be no event.  Planning and preparing for the “Run” insures its success, as well as volunteering to assume a responsibility on the day of the race.  To participate in either one, or both, of these important functions, please call 630-584-1221.

Spread the word and join the fun on August 17, 2008 at Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles, Illinois.
